Vanilla Cupcakes for Christmas

Ingredients:

Cupcakes:

2 cups flour

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

1⁄2 cup butter, softened

3⁄4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings:

12 ice cream cones (cut the top off)

750g icing sugar (not all for the trees, some for decoration on the tree)

green coloring

butter (the amount depends on the taste you like)

1 teaspoon of milk

Method:

Cupcakes:

1. preheat oven to 150c

2. line muffin cups with papers.

3. cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. beat in eggs one at a time.

4. add flour (mixed with baking powder and salt) alternating with milk beat well; stir in vanilla.

5. divide evenly among pans and bake for 18 minutes. let cool in pans.

Topping:

1. mix some of the icing sugar and butter until smooth.

2. add green coloring and mix well.

3. in other bowl mix icing sugar and a bit of milk.

4. add on the cupcakes the white icing.

5. then add the cone and pipe the green icing on with the star point.

6. last use a sift and put some dry icing in to look like there is snow on the tree.
